Super excited to announce that I'll be sponsoring the May/June Mystery Knit Along over in the SolidSocks group on Ravelry.com. I hope you can join us! And if you'd like to use a particular colorway you don't see available in my Etsy shop, please feel free to message me a request on Etsy and I'll dye it up for you this weekend.

Heavenly

I've finished knitting this gorgeous design by Ankestrick called "Heavenly". I used one skein of my speckled yarn, "Dharma", for the top, and the rest is my colorway, "Childhood". This is a top down raglan design, so there's no sewing involved. A wonderfully written pattern that I highly recommend! You can find the yarn in my Etsy shop.

50/50 Micro-Farmed Angora/Organic Luxury Wool Batts

I've listed a bevy of beautiful 50/50 Micro-Farmed Angora/Organic Merino, BFL, and Polwarth Batts in my Etsy shop. These are so soft and fluffy and luxurious! All of the angora in these are from a rabbit I raised named Gracie, who now lives a loved and respected life on a micro-farm here in Maine.

And here's a skein I spun up with two of the 50/50 Micro-Farmed Angora/Organic BFL Wool 2oz batts in "Lilac". My 4oz skein is about 260 yards of DK weight - scrumptious!

StarPainter Shawl Kit

I’ve teamed up with the wonderful designer, Susan Elizabeth, to create kits that include a free download of Susan’s amazing StarPainter Shawl knitting pattern.  Along with Susan's beautifully written pattern, you'll also receive two skeins of your choice of either my 80/20 Organic Merino/nylon Sock or Holistic Merino Fingering in my colorways “Starry” and “Night”.

Susan was inspired by Van Gogh’s painting, “The Starry Night”, and asked me to create colorways based on the sky and the village below. Her design is amazing! Find the kits in my Etsy shop.

Bovary Socks

I dyed up a bunch of new colorways last fall for the SolidSocks December Knit-Along. This is a great group of knitters on Ravelry.com, and I've sponsored one of their KALs before, last spring. Because I hand paint all of my yarn, it's a bit of a challenge for me to dye semi-solids that fit their guidelines of no multiple colors, pooling, or intentional striping, but I was happy with the colors I came up with to fit their purple theme. This is Bonibel, Black Raspberry, Wild Lilac, and Wild Grape:

Along with sponsoring the KAL, by donating a couple winner's choice prize skeins, I also joined in! I decided on the free pattern, "Bovary", by General Hogbuffer for mine, with my Morning Bright Organic Merino/Nylon Sock in Wild Lilac. I love them! Beautifully written pattern, and a perfect fit. I highly recommend!

I'll be back to sponsor a SolidSocks Mystery Knit-Along in May/June. I'm super excited for that one, as I've never participated in a mystery KAL before. Hope some of you can join in!
